Originally from Serbia, Iva has lived most of her life in Montengro, and is now based out of Budva, where she works with the local government to promote its tourism industry. Prior to this, she spent two decades working as a TV reporter and journalist covering and writing about tourism throughout the country. Her work has taken her to every inch of Montenegro, and her breadth of knowledge is exceptional. She has been to and reported on the major cities, towns, and tourist attractions more times than she can count, but also has extensive knowledge of off-the-beaten path places and activities.

With a Masters Degree in Arts and Cultural Management, Iva is particularly passionate about Montenegro’s history, cultural heritage sites, and museums, but you can also often find her hiking in the mountains, exploring the natural and rural areas on horseback, or sampling the wine at a new vineyard.
