A note from Halldór
"Hi everyone. My name is Halldór and I'm an Icelander from the Westfjords. Along with my wife Preeti, I run a local tour operator based in western Iceland.
I've spent the last decade helping travelers plan their trips all over the country and I specialize in planning customised vacations, usually where clients will be driving themelves. Iceland is really popular now and gets millions of visitors, but that doesn't mean that you can't still plan something different. I love helping travelers arrange trips tailored to their interests and travel style that are unique and authentic.

I've planned hundreds of trips for solo travelers, couples, families, groups of friends, and more. You name it, I've probably planned it! If you're planning a self-drive trip on your own, I can share lots of potential itineraries, detailed driving instructions, filled in Google maps, countless cool excursions, and hidden places. I have two young kids too, so always have plenty of ideas for keeping the kiddos entertained!
I think that my local connections, knowledge of Iceland, and a decade of experience in planning customised holidays mean that I can help just about anyone plan something right for them. My idea is always to balance the daily driving, sightseeing and activities and to accommodate special interests and travel styles. I'm based in Iceland but spend a fair bit of time in India, where my wife Preeti is from. We travel as much as work and schooling our three children allows.
