A Palermo native, Giorgio has been working in tourism in Sicily for over 20 years now. He started out as a tour escort, and eventually wound up managing a Sicily-wide tour operator, before becoming a licensed driver-guide over 10 years ago. Since becoming a guide, Giorgio has spent the past decade welcoming travelers and taking them out on single and multi-day tours throughout all of Sicily.
With a university degree in cultural tourism, Giorgio specializes in art & culture, history, archaeology and Sicilian folklore. On his tours, he always aims to combine an educational aspect along with beautiful sights, great conversation, and a nice dose of relaxation.
He’s based out of Palermo, in Western Sicily, but as one of the island’s few licensed guides and drivers, Giorgio can take you anywhere you want to go.

A look to the Arab Norman beauties of Palermo and Monreale recently included in the world's heritage list by UNESCO.
After a panoramic drive around the ancient walls of Palermo, we will start our walking visit of the old city with the Capo historic market, the Cathedral, the Four Corners and Pretoria Fountain ending at Martorana Church.
In the afternoon we will move to the next village of Monreale to admire the majestic medieval Cathedral and its precious cloister. Drive back to your hotel in Palermo.

An entire day of excursion in the area of Madonie Mountains. Nice drive along the coast from Palermo to Cefalu where to visit the majestic Norman Cathedral and explore the medieval old village stretching along the ancient megalithic walls and overlooking the Thyrrenian sea.
In the afternoon leave the sea towards the Madonie Mountains to visit the village of Castelbuono towered by the medieval Castle. Taste local pastries based on "Manna" (ash sap). Late afternoon drive back to your hotel in Palermo.
