A note from Joesph
"Jambo! Hi everyone, I'm Joseph. I was born in a small town called Murang'a in central Kenya and I'm from one of the biggest native Kenyan tribes: the Kikuyu people.
I moved to Nairobi, Capital city when I was young, and for a time I worked with United Nations world food program, European Union, and embassies, getting to know the outside world early on in my life. I'm a traveler as well, and have been lucky enough to visit Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, where I saw spectacular sights. I also ran a taxi business in Nairobi (that was before uber), and eventually landed my dream job as a tour guide, which I continue to be today!

I lead safaris, bird watching tours, cycling, boat trips, hiking, visits to pre-historical sites, and more. Wildlife is my life, and showing people our parks and animals is my passion. I help people to plan itineraries and execute them, from one day trip (we call them Safari in Kiswahili) to 30 days wildlife photographic trips, hiking the mountain, cycling, camping, boating, bird watching, or whatever type of trip you're looking for. Kenya is my country! We have over 30 parks and conservancies here, all full of wildlife - some as big as Israel country!
I do trips to Maasai Mara reserve, Nairobi National Park (the oldest and just 6 miles from Nairobi city), Hellsgate park where you can walk or cycle, Lake Nakuru park (nicknamed birds paradise & the only place to see the endangered Rothchild giraffe), the Amboseli park at the bottom of Mt. Kilimanjaro with tens or hundreds of elephant roaming freely, Tsavo East & Tsavo West, Samburu Reserve, and the Olpajeta conservancy, just to mention a few. I'm constantly out exploring these parks, so no matter what questions you have about them or the type of trip you're planning, I can help you put all of the pieces together!

When Local Experts recommend things like restaurants, hotels, excursions/activities, tours, drivers, etc., they’ll provide you with contact details and links so that you can make the final arrangements on your own.
